Pocono Manor Golf Course

Pocono Manor Golf Course is only a 7-minute drive away! This course is rich in history as its original nine holes opened over 110 years ago, in 1912. The course also hosted some of golf’s greatest, like Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead. Now, Pocono Manor Golf Course features an 18-hole course with beautiful views of the mountains surrounding. Plus, they offer various special rates throughout the week, which we are happy to help you book through our concierge services!

Great Bear Golf Club

Great Bear Golf Club is located just a 29-minute drive away from The Swiftwater. This 18-hole championship-style course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, considered to be one of, if not the, greatest golfers of all time. At Great Bear, there are a variety of hazards, like lakes, streams, and bridges, making for a great course for all different skill levels. On your next trip to the Pocono Mountains, this is a must-visit course!

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is a quick 21-minute drive from The Swiftwater! This is another golfing spot that is rich in history. This course, completed in 1910, hosted many of golf’s greatest, like Walter Hagen, Arnold Palmer, and Johnny Farrell. At this course, you will find a total of 27 holes. However, this is not like any other course- 24 of the holes are in the middle of the Delaware River on an island!

Pocono Farms

Pocono Farms is an immaculate private club that we are partnered with to allow guests of The Swiftwater exclusive access. This course, designed by the Poconos own Art Wall Jr., offers so much to its visitors. On the 18-hole course, you will experience a range of difficulties. The first nine holes will take you near a glacier lake and beautiful scenery of woodlands. Then, the other nine holes present a great challenge, with contoured greens. Ask our dedicated concierge to help get you set up for this guest- and resident-only experience!

Hideaway Hills Golf Club

Hideaway Hills Golf Club may be the furthest on our list, but it is well worth the 34-minute drive. While visiting the 18-hole course, you will experience panoramic views of the rolling hills of the Pocono Mountains. Hideaway Hills Golf Club features an over 6,900-yard course, plus a pro shop, lessons, and even banquet and wedding facilities!

After your relaxing day on the green, head back to The Swiftwater to unwind even more! You can go for an evening swim in our indoor/outdoor pool, grab a drink at Olivet, or head over to Desaki right next door for dinner!
